Child Protection

In keeping with the BTC (British TaekwonDo Council) Child Protection Policy, the instructors at ChelmsleyTAGB club are required to attend a Child Protection Course and undergo a Criminal Records Bureau/Disclosure check prior to taking up their instructor positions.

All instructors receive certification confirming their eligibility to instruct in the art of Taekwondo and their suitability in working with children and vulnerable adults.

If you have serious concerns about a child, you can call the NSPCC Child Protection Helpline- a free 24 hour service which provides counseling, information and advice to anyone concerned about a child at risk.
